Planned power outage will affect two Burlington neighbourhoods

Power will be lost in two Burlington neighbourhoods today (April 22) as Burlington Hydro works to upgrade infrastructure.

The planned outage is affecting the Mountain Gardens and Clarksdale neighbourhoods.

Approximately 750 client users will be with putout power until 4 p.m.

According to Burlington Hydro, the work is necessary for conducting maintenance on poles for continued reliability and safety of the electrical infrastructure.

Affected streets may include but are not limited to: Parkway Drive, Mountain Grove Avenue, Mountain Side Park, Fisher Avenue, Sunny Dale Drive, Augustine Drive, St Francis Greenallen Drive, Wise Avenue, Barnett Drive, Colonsay Drive, Cyprus Avenue, Tait Avenue, and Mart Court.
