One person was injured after a plane crashed at an Ontario airport on Friday, police say.
The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. at an airstrip on Skyway Drive in the Guelph-Eramosa area, the OPP says. A small aircraft collided into the runway during takeoff, and one occupant in the plane sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries, investigators say.
The victim was transported to hospital for assessment, and Transport Canada has been notified of the collision.
