Pickering woman wins $100,000 for Christmas

A woman from Pickering had something of a Christmas miracle after winning $100,000 on a gifted lotto ticket.
Karen Bragg, 58, told the OLG she had been playing the lottery every day for a decade before her partner bought the fateful ticket at the Kingston Rd. Smokers Corner in Pickering.
“When we realized we won $100,000, it took a couple hours to sink in,” Bragg said. Afterwards, she called her sister and friend you were “just ecstatic” for her.
Feeling “shocked” and “extremely fortunate” Bragg plans of buying a new set of golf clubs and invest the remainder of her winnings.
Bragg won on a $100 Instant Ultimate ticket which offers 40 $1 million prizes and 1 in 3.55 chance of winning any prize.
