Pickering residents asked to avoid intersection following stabbing incident

Police are asking Pickering residents to avoid an intersection due to a reported stabbing in the area.

Shortly after 9:00 pm on Jan. 23, Durham Police took to social media to announce that officers are on scene in the Front Rd. and Commerce St. area “for a disturbance.”

Police say that one male was found suffering from a stab wound.

Police say he has been transported to a Toronto-area hospital in stable condition.

“Please avoid the area,” police said.
