Pickering Planet Fitness hosting grand opening Wednesday

Pickering Planet Fitness will celebrate a new location Wednesday when they cut the ribbon on a brand new fitness centre on Brock Road.
The 19,600 sq.ft. facility features offers brand new cardio machines, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, many full-size flat-screen televisions, a 30-Minute Express Circuit, and Matrix Strength equipment and more.
The Black Card lounge offers the use of HydroMassage, massage chairs, Hybrid bed and loungers, tanning, Total Body enhancement booths, and 50 percent off select cooler drinks.
Planet Fitness will be offering potential members a $1 enrolment fee and memberships starting at just $15 a month and high schoolers 14-19) can work out for free at any of the company’s 50 locations across Canada, as part of High School Summer Pass Initiative. High schoolers can visit PlanetFitness.ca/SummerPass to register. Teens under 18 must register with a parent or guardian online or in-club.
The grand opening event will have tours, food, raffles, photo opportunities with members of entertainment and include a $2,500 presentation to Boys and Girls Club of Durham. Activities to follow will include tours, food, raffles, giveaways and photo opportunities with The Oshawa Generals.
The grand opening will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Planet Fitness Durham is located at 2460 Brock Road.
