Pickering driver catches an impaired driving charge in Bancroft

A Pickering driver faces an impaired operation charge after reports of a suspicious vehicle in the middle of the night.
The driver’s car was reported to the Bancroft OPP detachment as a suspicious vehicle. Officers investigated the report around 4 a.m. May 4. This led them to a business’ parking lot on Hasting St N in Bancroft.
Andria Schwab, 38 of Pickering, was arrested on scene and charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
Schwab was later released from custody. They will appear in a Bancroft Courtroom June 22.
