Crash leaves one injured while another has fled the scene in Pickering

Durham Regional Police, who are still searching for the suspect who left the scene of the accident, are asking drivers to choose a different route.
The accident occurred at 7:30 this morning near Bayly St. and Plummer Ave. The SIU are now on the scene and have temporarily closed off the area of Brock Rd. from Plummer in the north and Bayly in the south.
Police have not confirmed, but the SIU is usually only called in to an accident investigation if a police vehicle is involved.
