PHOTOS: Vehicle Severely Damaged After Colliding with Garbage Truck in Mississauga

Officers remain on scene for a crash in Mississauga this afternoon.

Police got a call at 3:34 p.m. for a pickup truck colliding with a garbage truck at the intersection of Mavis and Matheson Boulevard.

Access to the intersection is currently restricted.

Three occupants from the pickup truck were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Crews are working to clean the roadway.

At this time, northbound Mavis has reopened, while all other closures to the intersection remain in place.
