PHOTOS: Three Collision Reporting Centres now open in Mississauga and Brampton

Three Collision Reporting Centres (CRC) in Mississauga and Brampton are now open.

The three CRCs are located at PRP Headquarters at 7150 Mississauga Road and 11 Division at 3030 Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga, and Shoppers World at 499 Main Street South, Unit 189A, in Brampton.

These centres are the first in Peel Region and are intended to alleviated police response to collisions and allow them to focus on higher priority calls within their communities.

Additionally, all three are funded by supporting insurance companies, so they don’t represent an additional cost to the police or the public for these services.

“Our goal is to facilitate an active partnership between police and insurers in post-collision care by providing knowledgeable advice and assistance to accident victims. This results in increased convenience for the public as well as greater road safety,” reads a statement from Accident Support Services International Ltd.
