PHOTOS: Motorcyclist Struck by Vehicle at Major Intersection in Mississauga

A motorcyclist is facing serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga.
Police reported around 8:30 p.m. that the collision took place in the area of Mavis and Burnhamthorpe Road West.
The victim has been been taken to a trauma centre.
The intersection is currently closed for investigation. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
UPDATE: Mavis is closed southbound at Rathburn and northbound at Central Parkway. Burnhamthorpe is closed westbound at Grand Park and eastbound at Wolfedale.
