PHOTOS: Man Dead After Crashing Vehicle Near Restaurant in Mississauga

A man has succumbed to his injuries after a serious single-vehicle crash in Mississauga, police say.

Peel police said that officers were on scene investigating a crash in the Lakeshore Rd. E. and Stavebank Rd. area.

The crash occurred right outside of Posta restaurant.

Police say westbound Stavebank Rd. and eastbound Lakeshore are closed in the affected area.

According to police, the collision took place at 2:25 a.m.

A single male occupant was transported to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.

The Major Collision Bureau is investigating.
