PHOTOS: June’s most and least expensive homes in Brampton

If you’re looking to buy a home in Brampton, you might be slightly relieved to hear that the average home price dipped below the million-dollar mark in May 2021.
Real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa said that 1,174 homes sold in Brampton in May—up 155 per cent year-over-year. A total of 1,808 new listings were brought to market (up 116 per cent), keeping the city in sellers’ market territory.
According to Zoocasa, detached house sales rose 144 per cent with 619 sales, at a price of $1,118,682 (up 31 per cent since last year). Semi-detached house sales rose 180 per cent with 230 transactions, at an average price of $890,195 (up 19 per cent).
Townhouse sales were up 197 per cent with 95 sold at an average price of $662,836 (up 21 per cent), and condo sales rose 200 per cent, with 60 sold at an average price of $504,540 (up 11 per cent).
Although houses are still expensive, some homes are more affordable than others.
Here’s a look at the most and least expensive homes that recently changed hands in Brampton according to real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa.


Most Expensive

30 Brookbank Ct.

This massive property on the shore of Heart Lake sold for $3,850,000, about $100k more than the asking price. One of the few undeveloped residential property sites in the city. Potential to be severed into four lots. Custom-built bungalow with two in-law suites and an elevator.
