Firefighters were able to provide help to a goose stuck in an unfortunate situation this afternoon.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m., Brampton Fire & Emergency Services reported that the bird was frozen in a pond located between Castlemore Road and Birch Tree Trail.
The goose was safely removed by animal services with the assistance of Brampton Fire’s tech rescue team.
According to Brampton Fire, the goose has been transported to Toronto Wildlife for observation by Brampton Animal Services.
