The most expensive homes sold in November in Mississauga all went for under $5 million but they came with luxury features.
The real estate market has cooled in recent months with the average home price dropping below $1 million in Mississauga.
And, although they are out of the price range of most people, the higher-end properties also seem to be a difficult sell — all but one of the most expensive homes sold for under the asking price.
Real estate brokerage Zoocasa has compiled this list of the most expensive homes sold in November in Mississauga.
Here are the homes that made the list:
57 Forest Avenue
This Port Credit home is a new, modern build from Rock Fay Developments, designed by New Aged Design. This three-storey home boasts 4,008 square feet of living space with five bathrooms and four bedrooms. The main floor is open-concept and it has an upper-level terrace.
This place sold for $2,025,000 on Nov. 13, just under the $2,198,000 asking price. The property, with an older home on the site, sold for $1,200,000 in October 2020.

3429 Placid Place
This Churchill Meadows home features 3,756 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and five washrooms. The finished basement has three more bedrooms. It also comes with Schonbek crystal chandeliers.
This place sold for $2,125,000 on Nov. 23, just under the asking price of $2,287,000. The price has nearly doubled in the last few years — the home sold for $1,227,000 in 2016.

1543 Carolyn Road
Located in the East Credit area, this home features an enclosed heated/cooled sunroom with heated floors. There’s also a fireplace, hot tub, gated in-ground swimming pool, soundproof theatre and two family rooms.
This home sold for $2,250,000 on Nov. 13 just under the asking price of $2,399,000.

4176 Wilcox Road
Described as “a contemporary work of art, inside and out”, this home, near Square One, has roughly 6,000 square feet of living space. It is a custom-built, four-bedroom, six-washroom house with state-of-the-art technology that allows remote control of comfort features via mobile devices.
This home sold for $3,000,000 on Nov. 19, under the asking price of $3,300,000.

1286 Gatehouse Drive
The most expensive home sold in November backs onto Lake Ontario trails with access to Rattray Marsh. It is a private family home is surrounded by trees and landscaped gardens. It has a traditional feel with modern upgrades and nearly 5,200 square feet of livable space.
This home was the only place to sell over the asking price on this list. It sold for $4,000,001 on Nov. 20, over the list price of $3,999,900.
