The most expensive homes sold in Brampton last month are all under $2 million.

The average price for all home types sits around the $1 million mark in Brampton while a detached home is around $1.1 million.

While it is difficult to find a home under $500,000 these days, those looking for more luxury may find it in the homes on this list from real estate brokerage Zoocasa.

Here are five of the most expensive homes sold in February:

1 Almond St.

This home sits on a 59-foot-wide, corner lot and comes with a finished basement with a separate entrance. There are hardwood floors and porcelain tiles on the main floor. The second floor boasts four good-sized bedrooms, according to the listing.

This home sold for $1,628,001 on Feb. 11, just under the list price of $1,649,900.

1606 Hallstone Road

This four-bedroom home sits on a private lot in a family-friendly neighbourhood. There is a gourmet kitchen that opens to the family room with a fabulous view of the backyard. The primary bedroom has a fireplace, a custom walk-in closet and a six-piece ensuite bathroom.

This home sold on Feb. 19 for $1,630,000, under the asking price of $1,699,000.

4 Ingleborough Drive

Located in Credit Valley, this home features several upgrades including a “chef’s style” kitchen with a gas stove, grill and built-in stainless steel appliances. There is a spacious family room with a gas fireplace and a finished basement with a bar and separate kitchen.

This place sold for $1,632,000 on Feb. 23, well over the asking price of $1,599,000.

20 Provost Trail

This home features nine-foot, coffered ceilings, two full kitchens, a separate entrance to the basement plus landscaped front and back yards. The kitchen has a butler’s pantry, stainless steel appliances, a large island with a breakfast bar and breakfast area that leads outside to a custom composite deck.

This home sold for $1,710,000 on Feb. 24, just under the $1,799,000 list price.

The most expensive home on the list is a large home with five bedrooms plus four bedrooms in the basement and over 4,700 square feet of total living space. The main level is open concept with 10-foot, smooth ceilings on both floors. The legal basement apartment with a separate entrance offers income potential.

This home sold for $1,963,500 on Feb. 19, just under the $1,999,000 asking price.
