Oakville residents doing a little shopping or grabbing a bite on Kerr Street this week can also put getting vaccinated on the list.

Those still needing to get that first or second dose can drop by the Kerr Street Community COVID-19 Vaccination Pop-up Clinic, running July 27-30 at Oakwood Public School, located on 357 Bartos Drive.

Anyone 12 years of age and over is eligible (must have 12th birthday by day of clinic) and no appointments are necessary for the drop-in clinic, which runs from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This clinic will be providing the Pfizer vaccine.

While a health card or other piece of government-issued identification isn’t required, residents should still bring it.

The clinic is being held outdoors, so residents are asked that they dress for the weather. A mask must be worn at all times and those attending the clinic are reminded to maintain a two-metre physical distance from others at all times.

If you require support, please bring only one person with you. Residents are also encouraged to bring a bottle of water and eat a snack or meal before their appointment.

The first 25 people vaccinated at this clinic (one per household) will be able to sign up to get one free Halton Fresh Food Box, for pick-up at a future date.
