A fresh influx of the Pfizer vaccine means that Mississauga and Brampton residents will be able to choose their medicine when they get their shots.

Peel Public Health says that moving forward; residents will be allowed to choose their vaccine brand – either Pfizer or Moderna – when they arrive at any clinic where doses are being administered to combat COVID-19.

This is a departure from just one month ago when residents were told that most second doses would be Moderna because of the short supply of Pfizer.

Meanwhile, Peel Public Health says youth focused clinics throughout the region over will be held over the next week. Details and booking information can be found here – Region of Peel website

Many appointments are still available for all eligible residents across Peel clinics this weekend – booking information here. There are also limited walk in appointments at clinics across the Region of Peel each day.

Also, this is the last weekend that the clinic at the International Centre will be running.
