Update: Hamilton highway access re-opened after fatal collision

All lanes and access to Hwy. 403 in Hamilton have reopened after a fatal collision on Monday (Oct. 18).
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and a person was reported “without vital signs” around 3:45 p.m.; all lanes reopened around 9 p.m.
Cleared: #Closure #Hamilton #HWY403 EB and on ramp at Aberdeen Ave, all lanes reopened.

Sgt. Kerry Schmidt posted a video on Twitter in regard to the collision, saying the pedestrian was struck on the 403, just past Aberdeen.
“We have one person without vital signs,” said Sgt. Schmidt. “Expect heavy delays in the area.”
