Update: Person with a gun spotted in Mississauga

Police are searching an area of Mississauga after there were reports of a person with a gun.
The person was reportedly spotted in the Dundas Street West and Confederation Parkway area of Mississauga today (March 16), Peel Regional Police said in a tweet at 12:37 p.m.
There were no shots fired or reports of injuries, police added.
There was no suspect information provided.
A heavy police presence is in the area while officers investigate.
Police said they would provide more information as they receive it.

Update: Four adults were taken into custody and a replica firearm was recovered, police said at 2:30 p.m. The area has re-opened and police thanked residents for their patience.
