Person in crisis leads to large police presence in Brampton neighbourhood

Officers are on scene and say residents can expect to see a large police presence due to a person in crisis in a Brampton neighbourhood.

Peel Regional Police say officers received a call around 3 p.m. about a person in crisis contained within a unit at 225 Veterans Dr., near Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton.

Few details have been released, but investigators are asking members of the public to avoid the area.
