Person found dead after fire breaks out in Brampton

One person is dead and police are investigating following a fire in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to Aloma Crescent in Brampton around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday for reports of a fire.

A shed was on fire and the blaze has since been extinguished, and police say officers located a deceased person.

Police say the incident is under investigation and residents can expect to see an extended police presence in the area. No details about the deceased person have been released.
