Person found dead after disturbance call in Brampton

Police are investigating a fatal incident in Brampton early this morning (June 17).

Shortly before 6:00 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance call in the area of Aloma Crescent and Avondale Blvd, near Bramalea.

An adult was found deceased at the scene.

The cause and circumstances of the death have not been confirmed by police at this time.

Residents should avoid the area as the investigation continues.

Police say they located an adult woman suffering from obvious signs of trauma, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time. Officers will be searching the area for evidence and going door-to-door to check for witnesses.

Police believe this is an isolated incident.
