The Rotary Club of Fonthill in Pelham helped Christmas come a little early for young Niagara residents gifting the Pathstone Mental Health group with a cheque for $3,500.

Using money raised at their Niagara Family Funfest earlier this year, the service club gave the cheque to help Pathstone with their renovations to River House in Welland.

Pathstone Mental Health is the primary accredited provider of children’s mental health treatment in the Niagara region.

“We offer a broad spectrum of treatment services and programs, delivered by highly qualified staff to strengthen children and families,” says the group. “We serve all children and youth from birth through to their 18th birthday.”

Their River House in Welland will offer an in-person walk-in clinic, one-on-one therapy programs, group clinics for parents and youth, and child minding “and continues to raise much needed funds to complete and furnish
this site at 102 River Road.”

A non-profit charitable organization governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, the agency is funded primarily by the Province of Ontario, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
