Always ABBA bring the timeless tunes of the classic quartet as they sing the Swedish group's greatest hits.

If you’re feeling like the mood for some fine Swedish tunes, the Peace Park (20 Pelham Town Square) in Pelham is your destination tonight (August 18) as Always ABBA is headlining the town’s 13-For-13 Festival.

The unique 13-for-13 Festival has paired each of Niagara’s 12 municipalities, as well as the region, up with a Canadian province or territory from which they have to draw entertainment as part of the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games celebrations.

“Join us on August 18th between 4pm-9pm in Peace Park, 20 Pelham Town Square where we will be hosting the athletes and supporters of Team Alberta,” said the town.

“Come enjoy our local farmers market, delicious offerings from our local food vendors, and entertainment from Max Ingrao at 5:30pm and featuring Always ABBA at 7pm. Food served this day will be inspired by the province’s cuisine.”

It all kicks off tonight at 4 pm with the Supper Market and Farmers “with other on-site vendors and activations including inflatables.”

At 5:30 pm, country-rock singer Max Ingrao hits the stage with his guitar, bringing with him such diverse influences such as Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Crowded House, Fleet Foxes and U2.

Then at 7 pm, Always ABBA bring the timeless tunes of the classic quartet as they sing the Swedish group’s greatest hits.

“Relive the fun as you enjoy the classic looks and sound that made ABBA famous,” says the group. “Always ABBA’s impeccable vocals and stellar musicianship makes them the greatest ABBA tribute and they offer a performance you are sure to love. Come spend the night with ALWAYS ABBA and let your inner Dancing Queen be reborn!”
