Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah’s executive team has a new member now that the service has named Lauren Jackson as chief administrative officer (CAO) and deputy chief.

A board member of the Global Law Enforcement & Public Health Association, Peel police say Jackson’s last role was as a Partner at Deloitte Inc. where she served as National Security & Justice Leader.

With experience working with police, fire, paramedic, justice and security agencies at all three levels of government in Canada as well as internationally, PRP says Jackson will provide “strategic leadership, direction and oversight for the general business, administration, and support functions across our organization.”

“Deputy Chief Jackson brings 14 years of demonstrated expertise in providing guidance, direction, and purposeful leadership in managing complex operational and administrative change initiatives,” PRP said in a release.

PRP says Jackson is also an active volunteer with health care and social service agencies, and a mentor within the LGBTQIA+ Mentorship program at Deloitte.
