Peel Region reporting 70 new COVID-19 cases, 33 in Brampton and 32 in Mississauga

The Region of Peel is reporting 70 new COVID-19 cases as of Thursday (September 30).

Of Thursday’s new cases, 33 are in Brampton, while 32 are in Mississauga, and just five are in Caledon.

This brings the total for the Region to 116,418 cases. Of these, 115,003 have recovered, while 401 are still pending, 3,424 have been hospitalized, and 1,015 have died.

As of Thursday, 58.8 per cent of cases are in Brampton, 36.9 per cent are in Mississauga, and just 4.1 per cent are in Caledon.
