Peel Region reporting 67 new COVID-19 cases, 36 in Mississauga and 24 in Brampton

The Region of Peel is reporting 67 new COVID-19 cases as of Monday (September 13).

Of Monday’s new cases, 36 are in Mississauga, while 24 are in Brampton, and seven are in Caledon.

This brings the total for the Region to 115,136 cases. Of these, 113,617 have recovered, while 530 are still pending, 3,371 have been hospitalized, and 990 have died.

As of Monday, 59 per cent of cases are in Brampton, 36.7 per cent are in Mississauga, and just 4.1 per cent are in Caledon.

The Province is reporting 600 new cases on Monday, as well as six new deaths.

Additionally, the Province is reporting as of Monday, 84 per cent of eligible residents ages 12 and older have received at least one dose of a vaccine, and 78 per cent of those eligible have been fully immunized.
