Peel Public Health reporting 64 new COVID-19 cases, 33 in Brampton, 31 in Mississauga, and none in Caledon

The Region of Peel is reporting 64 new COVID-19 cases as of Monday (November 29).

Of Monday’s new cases, 33 are in Brampton, while 31 are in Mississauga, and zero are in Caledon.

This brings the total for the Region to 119,284 cases. Of these, 117,897 have recovered, while 357 are still pending, 3,557 have been hospitalized, and 1,032 have died.

As of Monday, 58.3 per cent of cases are in Brampton, 37.3 per cent are in Mississauga, and just 4.2 per cent are in Caledon.

The Province is reporting 788 new cases on Monday, as well as three new deaths. With 26,016 tests completed, this brings the positivity rate to 3.03 per cent.

As of Monday, 78 per cent of Peel residents who are eligible to get vaccinated have received one dose, while 75 per cent have been fully immunized—this includes 86 per cent of residents over the age of 12.
