Peel Police taking food donations today at Mississauga grocery store

Peel Police DMU (Divisional Mobilization Unit) officers will continue leaving the doors open to their cruisers wide-open at the Loblaws parking lot, 250 Lakeshore Rd W in Mississauga.
Are they hoping hardened criminals will simply turn themselves in?
Not quite. It’s a food drive by the Peel Police and as of 11:30 this morning, two cruisers had their trunks, back seats and passenger seats crammed with non-perishable food and toiletries.
Police say, “Our officers will still be present until 2 pm (so let’s) help them cram more cruisers.”
All donations will be taken directly to the Compass Food Bank and Outreach Centre at 310 Lakeshore Rd W.
