Peel Police Seeking the Public’s Help Following Sexual Assaults in Mississauga

According to a recent news release, investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s help following sexual assaults in the Lakefront Promenade and Lakeshore Road East area in Mississauga.
An adult female was allegedly sexually assaulted along the pathway within Lakefront Promenade on Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. by an individual on a bicycle
The same person is allegedly responsible for another sexual assault at this location which occurred several days earlier.
Investigators believe the individual could have committed similar acts in the area and urge anyone with information to contact the Peel Regional Police.
