Peel Police and investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in regard to an investigation involving an ongoing historical sexual assault.

On May 17, 2018, an 88-year-old man from Mississauga was sexually assaulted by the suspect.

Subin George Oommen, a 40-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested and charged with sexual assault on May 29, 2019, and was scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

The accused male is described as 5’7, South Asian, 170 lbs. and short black hair with a goatee or beard.
