Peel police seek tips in shooting investigation

Investigators with the Peel police are requesting assistance from the public in relation to two shootings that occurred in Mississauga the past two weekends.

The Peel Regional Police do not have suspect information, but both shootings occurred in the early-morning hours of June 19 and 26 in the area of Enfield Place and Kariya Drive.

The first report of gunfire in that area was received around 3:15 a.m. on June 19. The second was on 3:48 a.m. on June 26, last Sunday. Responding officers found evidence of shots fired, but no victims were present and none have come forward.
