Peel Police on scene in Mississauga after pedestrian struck by car

Peel Regional Police are on the scene after a person was struck by a car in Mississauga Monday morning (Aug. 9).

According to police, the collision occurred shortly before 6 a.m. in the area of Meyerside Drive and Tomken Road in Mississauga.

The victim is being transported to a local trauma centre and police said the driver of the car has remained on the scene.

North and southbound Tomken is currently blocked and motorists are urged to consider alternate routes.
