Peel Police investigating shooting in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police (PRP) are currently investigating an early morning shooting (approx. 1 a.m.) on December 25 in Mississauga at the area of Hurontario Street and Britannia Road at a motel in this area.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services currently treating one victim at the scene and their status and the extent of their injuries has yet to be determined.

There is a heavy police presence in the area.

There is no suspect information available at this time.

UPDATE: The victim is being taken to the trauma centre.
