Peel Police investigating an overnight shooting in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is investigating a shooting in Brampton. 

At 4:27 a.m. on Monday (May 24), PRP was called to the area of Sunnyvale Gate and Bovaird Drive East  in relation to a shooting where an adult man was shot.

The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

The plaza parking lot is closed for investigation.

Residents can expect a heavy police presence in the area, as PRP continues to investigate.
