Peel police no longer concerned after locating a missing 24-year-old Brampton man

Peel Regional Police are thanking the public for their assistance in helping locate 24-year-old Brampton man Rupinder Thind, who was reported missing on Feb. 18.

He has since, made a successful return home.

On Saturday (Feb. 18) 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m., police responded to a missing persons call in the area of Dixie Rd/Williams Pkway in Brampton.

Rupinder Thind was last seen at 12:36 a.m. (Feb. 17) near Hwy 50/Rutherford Rd.

He is known to be driving in a 2021 black Hyundai Elantra with the license plate CSCW6O8.

The 24-year-old is described as being a 5 foot-8 South Asian man, with a thin build, black buzz-cut hair, and a thick beard.

He was wearing a light blue jacket, black t-shirt, grey under armour pants, and white and blue slides.
