Peel police charge two men with drug, stolen property and firearm offences in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police have arrested and charged one man from Brampton and another from Welland with drug, property, and firearm-related offences in Mississauga early this evening (Mar. 12)

On Friday (Mar. 10) 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers say they were patrolling the area when they responded to an unoccupied vehicle near Enterprise Rd/Atlantic Dr in Mississauga.

Further investigations led police to arrest two men. A loaded Glock 40 Caliber 27 Gen 5 was also located and seized from one of the suspects.

23-year-old Abdullah Sarwari from Welland was charged with multiple firearm offences including two counts of possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of an automobile master key.

Peel police say Abdullah was in custody, pending a bail hearing and since then has appeared at a Court of Justice in Brampton.

28-year-old Mohammad Ghousi was charged with the possession of a controlled substance. He was released on an undertaking, as well as given a future court date in which he is expected to appear.
