In an effort to keep students and parents abreast of the situation, the Peel District School Board’s COVID-19 Advisory Board is tracking the number of active confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at PDSB schools in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon.

For all confirmed cases, families and staff at the school are notified by letter, and Peel Public Health contacts any close contacts directly.

The PDSB notes that a positive case at a school does not necessarily mean the individual was exposed to COVID-19 at the school—they may have been exposed elsewhere in the community.

  • Applewood Heights Secondary – 1 confirmed case, 0 closed classrooms (school open)
