Pedestrians struck by vehicle in Mississauga, extent of injuries unknown

A collision occurred between a vehicle and pedestrians in Mississauga this evening (Aug 25).

According to Peel Regional Police, the incident took place near Central Pkwy E. and Hurontario St, around 6:36 p.m.

The extent of the injuries remains unknown at this time.

However, authorities say that the driver remained on scene.

Police have not disclosed any information about the individuals involved in the collision.

Residents and commuters are urged to take alternate routes of travel.
