Pedestrian struck by vehicle; Steeles Ave in Brampton closed for investigation

A pedestrian was sent to hospital Thursday morning after they were struck by a vehicle in the area of Hurontario St. and Steeles Ave. in Brampton.

The incident occurred at around 6:15 a.m.

Peel Police say the vehicle remained on the scene.

The eastbound lanes on Steeles Ave. remained closed.

Police advised motorists to use alternate routes.
