Pedestrian struck by vehicle near GO Train station in Mississauga; road closed

A pedestrian was injured after a collision near a Mississauga GO Train station in Mississauga.
The female pedestrian was hit by a car on Hillcrest Avenue near the Cooksville GO Train station Wednesday morning around 6:45 a.m., Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The eastbound lanes on Hillcrest Avenue were closed from Confederation Parkway to Go Access (road to Cooksville GO).
The age of the female pedestrian was not provided.
