Pedestrian struck by two vehicles in Halton Hills

A woman was rushed to hospital after being struck by two vehicles at a busy Georgetown intersection.
Halton Regional Police report the incident took place after 6 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 4) at Guelph St. and Mountainview Rd. S.
The woman, in her 20s, was crossing Guelph St. when she was struck by a westbound vehicle. Police say she was then thrown into the eastbound lanes where she was struck by another vehicle.
She was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
