Pedestrian struck at Mississauga intersection taken to trauma centre

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital trauma centre Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga.
Peel Police say a male was hit at the North Service and Cawthra Rd. intersection just after 9 p.m.
The driver remained on the scene.
The intersection remained closed for several hours before re-opening after midnight.
The pedestrian’s injuries are considered non-life threatening.
