Female pedestrian pinned under vehicle after crash in Mississauga

One woman is in life-threatening condition after she was struck and pinned under a vehicle in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police (PRP) were called to the area of Westminster Pl. and Willowbank Tr. in Mississauga just after 12 p.m. on Wednesday after a pedestrian was struck by a motorist.
A spokesperson for Peel Paramedics said the victim is an adult female who became pinned under the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition, and police said they are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
The PRP said it’s Major Collision Bureau is investigating the incident and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have information related to the crash to contact investigators at (905) 453-2121, ext. 3710.
