Pedestrian in serious condition after being hit by a car in Mississauga

A pedestrian is in hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga Friday evening.
The woman was hit near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Eglinton Avenue West. Peel Police say the driver remained on the scene.
The westbound lanes of Eglinton Avenue are currently closed to Oscar Peterson Boulevard for the investigation and police are asking drivers to use alternate routes.
