Pedestrian hurt in Brampton hit and run

A woman is in hospital following a hit-and-run in Mississauga.
The woman was walking near Sandalwood Pkwy. and Pinecone Way shortly after 6 p.m. January 4 when she was struck, according to Peel Regional Police.
She was in stable condition when first responders arrived but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The unidentified vehicle that hit her did not stay at the scene.
To investigate the hit-and-run, police have cordoned off Sandalwood Pkwy. between Pinecone Way and Bramalea Rd.
