Pedestrian hit in crash; road closed in Brampton

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Brampton Tuesday morning.

The collision happened at Kennedy Road and Edgemont Drive in Brampton Tuesday, Peel Regional Police said in a post just after 7 a.m.

Police said the injuries are non-life threatening.

As of 7 a.m., Kennedy Road was blocked for the investigation.

Police asked drivers to avoid the area.

Update: The road reopened around 11 a.m.
