Pedestrian dead in Niagara Falls crash

A male pedestrian was struck and killed in Niagara Falls on Thursday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the collision at Thorold Stone Road near Carroll Avenue at approximately 8:20 a.m., Niagara Regional Police said.

Paramedics transported the injured male to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Police didn’t provide further details on the person hit or the vehicle involved.
