Pedestrian dead after being struck by vehicle in Mississauga

Police are responding to a fatal collision in Mississauga this morning (Dec. 28).

Around 7:30 a.m., a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Southcreek Rd and Dundas St E.

The pedestrian was taken to a trauma centre and has since been pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene, police say.

Peel Police’s Major Collision Bureau is taking over the investigation into this collision.

Residents should avoid the area.
