Pedestrian crash in Brampton sends one man to hospital

Police say a man was rushed to hospital following a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Brampton last night (May 4).
Shortly before 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Mclaughlin Rd. and Bovaird Dr. in Brampton for reports of a collision.
When police arrived they found an adult male had been struck by a vehicle and was transported to a local hospital.
The northbound lanes of Mclaughlin Rd. were closed at Bovaird Dr. while officers were on the scene.
Police said in an update that the man’s injuries were non-life threatening and that the roadway had been cleared by around 2:00 a.m.
